How to assign a page to your home page in WordPress ?

Your homepage, also called frontpage, is the most visited page of your website and is also the one with the highest ranking in the search engine results. It is worth spending time designing it.
By default in WordPress, the home page is the list of your latest published posts. You can decide to display a page ( also called static page ) instead.
1 - Create a specific page for home
In the admin bar, you can click New Page.
Or you can also click on Add New in the Pages admin menu.
Design and publish your page. You can name this page " Home" to find it easily later.
2 - Assign a page to home
- Open the live customizer panel
- Locate the Homepage Settings option.
- Select the A static page option, then choose your "Home" page from the Homepage drop down.
3 - Customization
Depending on your theme or plugins you'll have different tools to add content to your home page.
A simple solution is to use a page builder to start adding custom content.
