When troubleshooting problems in WordPress, resetting ( or flushing ) permalinks is a common step.

Resetting / Flushing permalinks structure

If you use a cache plugin, it's recommended to deactivate it.

  1. In the Admin menu, click on Settings > Permalinks
  2. Then, when on the Permalinks Settings page, notice the structure that you have selected, so you can put it back after flushing. The select another structure, like the Plain setting, and click the Save Changes button
  3. When the page is refreshed, your permalink structure has been reset ( or flushed ). Simply select your original setting and save again. You're done.

You may need to clear your browser cache.
